About Us

      Welch Concrete Products LLC was established in 1973 by Robert Paul Welch. He started this business from the ground up making septic tanks in the front yard and the business began to grow from there. In 1980 we acquired a larger piece of property just outside of Murray in Almo, Kentucky. By 1981 we began washing sand and gravel and established a rock yard. We expanded our business by setting up an asphalt plant at this new location in 1983. The precast operation continued to grow, and in 1988 a larger precast shop was built allowing us to expand production. The business has now been passed on to Paul’s sons, Bret and Kyle Welch. However, Paul is still very active in the daily business operations. Today Welch Concrete Products continues to produce precast concrete products and asphalt as well as selling and delivering rock and sand.
